The Last Stand of the Left

This is more than an election for the Democratic party and their Deep state allies among Republicans.  This is life or death for them.

They have experienced pushback over the last four years unlike anything they have felt before.  Trump has cut off many avenues of illicit funding on which the Left has relied for decades to loot the federal treasury.  He has “defunded the Left,” as Newt Gingrich famously set out to do with the Contract for America a quarter century ago.

From interdicting foreign aid kickback schemes (Ukraine) to ending the EPA practice of “sue and settle,” (propose a phony regulation, let environmentalist groups sue over it, then settle before trial for an eye-popping amount) and numerous other schemes of financial chicanery, all facilitating the transfer of billions of tax dollars annually to fund the activities of the political Left, Trump is bringing Newt’s dream to fruition.

Regulatory schemes have long been a source of income for the Left.  An agency establishes a rule, then designates an organization to help implement/organize/administer said rule. 

Invariably, the designated organizations are ideologically Leftist, and financially tied to Leftist advocacy initiatives, and issue-oriented activism.

Simply understood, Congressman “A” passes a bill to do “X.”  The agency responsible for making that happen selects businesses, non-profits, etc., to do the work, frequently at the suggestion of Congressman “A” who then receives a portion of the expenditures on the program through campaign contributions or just old-fashioned stacks of money on the sly.

Trump has decimated that regulatory regime, and in doing so, saved taxpayers billions while starving the Left (and MANY corrupt Republicans) of their mother’s milk.

Donald Trump is a disrupter, a storm for which the status quo was wholly unprepared.  The Left, and their Deep State allies realize they will not survive another four years under the dismantling efforts of this President.  For this reason, the Left cannot permit his reelection.

The following is my speculation.  It’s based on my research, analysis and understanding of the methods and strategies of the Left, gained over a lifetime of exposing these tactics. 

I sincerely pray I am proven completely wrong.  However, I fear if anything, I will be shown to have understated the danger.

Litigation teams affiliated with the Democratic party have filed suits in as many as 20 states and numerous localities, and threatened to file many more, seeking to emasculate the ability of these jurisdictions to police their own elections.

They seek to extend absentee and mail-in ballot deadlines by as much as two weeks after Election Day; have challenged (or threaten to challenge) the matching of signatures on incoming ballots with on-file voter registrations. 

Presently, ballots with signatures that do not match the voter registration cards are disallowed and not counted.

These litigation teams assert election workers are not certified experts in handwriting analysis, and therefore cannot be permitted to render judgements on signature validity.  Should the jurisdiction attempt to disallow ANY ballots based on signature comparisons, they will be sued.

It goes without saying, these election workers will also be targeted by the paramilitary wings of the Left, BLM and Antifa.  Indeed, some already have been.

How many County Election Commissioners will cave to such pressure, and relax ballot verification standards to the point of irrelevance?

In the end, it really doesn’t matter. 

The Left would love to snatch a victory by exhibiting a majority of votes (whether valid or manufactured) but will not let such a failure stop them.

On Election night, Trump is expected by many observers to win handily.  However, for the Democrats, that’s when the election BEGINS, not ends. 

Using the extended deadlines, Democrat ballots will be manufactured and filed at a level we’ve never seen before.

They won’t even bother to try to forge the signatures, as they will challenge any attempt to verify them, and will easily find a Judge willing to grant them whatever judicial decree necessary to call the election results into question.

Now, multiply these circumstances in every battleground state, and to a lesser extent, in all states. 

The resulting confusion will be hyped beyond belief by a complicit media, who will be echoing the charge of Democrats that “Trump is trying to steal the election by disallowing millions of votes.”

When the Left feels they have ratcheted up sufficient chaos, they will declare themselves to be the winners of the election, and demand Trump leave the White House, or else.

They will set up a shadow government, a shadow cabinet, and their media allies will begin treating their pronouncements as the legitimate statements of government, treating the real government under Trump as illegitimate coup plotters who must be overthrown to “save our Democracy.”

The “Deep State” Republicans will echo these calls, and side with the shadow government in calling for Trump’s ouster.

The streets will fill with destructive rioting.  There will be targeted, violent intimidation of loyal Republican officeholders, at ALL levels of government, forcing them to disavow Trump and to join Democrats in demanding his removal, or else.

Citizens, already abused and discouraged by the heavy-handed acts of government overreach throughout the Coronavirus response, will grow desperate as business grinds to a halt, supply chains are broken, and essential services are nowhere to be found.

The resulting standoff will deepen in complexity as the Democrats will call for international intervention.  They will turn to the United Nations, claiming to be the legitimate representatives of the United States, asking that largely corrupt body to certify them as such. 

The UN, ever eager to thwart the aims of individual liberty and government with the consent of the people, will expel our current UN Ambassador, and seat whomever the Democrats put forward.

By this time, the ability to reliably ascertain a winner from amongst the polluted and mishandled ballots cast (and manufactured) will have fallen victim to the unrest in the streets as courts and other government functions will be operating sporadically, if at all.

Through it all, the media will be crowing, coaxing, cajoling, and censoring for all they’re worth. 

Social media will have silenced any opposing viewpoints, becoming an echo chamber for the removal of Trump and the installation of Biden.

President Trump will not bow to these illegitimate demands and will be forced to deploy federal assets to quell the unrest in the streets, and to repel the now nightly attacks on the White House.

When the traitorous forces have generated sufficient fear, and the American people have endured unspeakable pain, some Leftist nation will take to the podium of the UN to call for the deployment of peacekeepers in the United States.

Democrats (having orchestrated the suggestion) will accede to these demands, knowing the President will be forced to deploy troops on domestic soil to prevent the arrival of an army under the auspices of the UN.

Civil war will have begun at large scale, in earnest.

The Democratic Party will go to the wall this election. 

This is where they must make their stand or face functional annihilation under a reformist Trump second term.

They will fight.  What will you do?
